Halloween fun!

If you can't tell by the picture, this year Josie was a pink poodle and Kaiya was a pea in a pod. The costume on Kaiya was borrowed and Josie still isn't quite at the age that she would want to be some sort of character. So, I found the costume at Old Navy for $5. I also had some friends come over with their kids for pizza and play time. We did it last year and I figured I would just make it a tradition. It was quite the scene trying to get all the kids on or by the couch for a picture. They did surprisingly well!!

Day to day happenings

Josie wanted to show Parker and Will her fun hairdo and how she can brush her teeth all by herself. I will have to say that it was so fun doing her hair. She doesn't let me do that very often, so I sulked in it as long as I could! Hopefully as time goes by she will want me to do her hair more often. Tonight, I am extremely proud of my girls! Lil Kaiya, transitioned from the Amby to the crib today. She fussed for about 20 minutes altogether late this afternoon with me going in every couple of minutes to let her know everything is okay. She only slept for about 15 minutes. I thought that was a pretty good start to a hard transition. THEN- tonight, I put her down and she was asleep within 5 minutes. She woke up about 30 minutes later with a loud cry. Just as I was about to go in to try to soothe her.....she fell back asleep!! I still am amazed...

Me and my sis!!

In the last few weeks, Kaiya has really become vocal and entertaining! Josie loves singing and talking to her. With her eyes, Kaiya follows Josie around the house as Josie is busy dancing, singing, playing with dolls, etc. Every time Kaiya is fussing and Josie is around, Josie will come to her and kiss her on the head or pat her tummy and Kaiya immediately stops crying and stares at Josie and often times starts smiling. She loves her big sis so much already!!

I can drive and I am only 2!

I found this little car through a friend for a really good deal. It has a brand new battery and as you will see it goes pretty fast. (Josie did not go over the curb by the way).

Cool Tricks!

Hey Parker and Will! I have a lot of cool tricks up my sleeves and wanted to show you one. Do you have any cool tricks??? I love you both and cannot wait to see you at Christmas time!!

Lets play catchup

Here are some random pictures I thought you would like to see.

Josie is in a big girl bed!

Tonight we made the transition to a toddler bed and Josie took to it well. She was so excited to see the Princess bed set that John brought home tonight! I think that made it a more exciting move for her. I will have to say that even though it took her about an hour and a half to fall asleep (she has been doing that lately), she never cried- she just yelled at us from her room.... "MOMMY- DADDY come EER!!! Now my next plan of action is to get the crib back into the room and get Kaiya in it!

Josie is allergic to red food dye!!

Well, it is confirmed. A few weeks ago Josie had a viral infection and also developed a disgusting skin rash that freaked me out! She ate a cookie that had food dye in the frosting and we wondered if that was what caused it since that was the only thing she ate out of the ordinary. Well, this morning John gave Josie some crystal light (a red packet you add to water) b/c we were out of milk and juice. By 8:30AM, these pics were taken. That rash came up and progressed rapidly in about 10 minutes. Luckily, I knew what was happening and lubed her up with Cortizone cream and Benedryl.

I'm on a roll!!

Two posts in one night! I am shocked myself. Well, I wanted to give the family the latest prego belly pic (although not my fave!) I will be posting older pictures/video that never quite made it on our website.

Jeeezahhh!!!!

Okay, so I am sick of not being able to describe pictures on our website.  I hope that I can update this often, but this isn't a strong point of mine.  Here is Josie trying to walk in my heels! She loves putting on shoes, grabbing her purse and heading for the front door. She always turns back around and says, "BYE! SEE YA!"

A funny thing happened yesterday. I ate lunch with a few ladies I met in a bible study this year.  Our leader is moving, so at the end of the meal we all got up and circled around her to pray for her.  Josie was in my arms and a few minutes into praying, Josie belted out, "JEEZAHHHH" (That is Josie talk for Jesus).  I heard a bunch of snickering and then she started patting the backs of the ladies in front of me (one being Diane Matthews) asking if they were okay.
